In early June, we landed a spot in Seaside, Oregon for the weekend. Awesome! I had never been, and I love adventure in a new place. The drive was beautiful. Oregon, you do not disappoint.
Here’s our cute cottage where we stayed.

Our first morning, it rained. (Okay, Oregon, sometimes you disappoint.) But my kids are Oregon-born! No big deal. We took our rain gear to the promenade along the beach.
And we found some indoor things to do: a small aquarium…
and a funny shark photo opportunity (if you can’t tell by the plug in the wall, and other clues: we’re not really underwater).
By afternoon, the weather cleared up, and we spent the next two days playing at the beach. It was glorious.
We should really go back. Soon.
