I began this blog in 2010, with no real purpose except for a little self-reflection.  As we've experienced the reality of Alzheimer's in my family, I like to think I'm writing and preserving these moments in a time capsule somewhere before they slip away from memory.

I am an Air Force brat, so all at once I can be from everywhere but nowhere in particular, and my spirit is a tiny bit restless.  I have lived in Panama, Texas, California, Ohio, Oklahoma, Massachusetts, Texas again, and Washington. Though it is too far from my family, I call Portland, Oregon my home - one of the greatest cities in which to live and raise three kiddos.  At nine years, it's the longest I've lived anywhere. 

I like to cook, craft, hike, garden, bike, and sew, and I've just started running.  I love to take pictures of everything, and I love to learn from four of my favorite people every day.

I am a wife y tambien la mama de la casa.  I record a tiny slice of life online.  I obsessively self-edit.
